I guess here's where I'm supposed to tell you something inspirational. I don't want you to get your hopes up, but I guess I will share how I generally got to where we are today.
My journey into photography started about as randomly as you would expect – in college. I needed to take a Fine Arts class for an elective… Pottery? Nope. Painting? Lol. Digital Photography? That sounds not too horrible. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I showed up the first day and didn’t even realize you needed your own camera... I ended up having to borrow friend's cameras for my assignments and somehow made it through the semester. But I ended up actually really liking the class...so I decided to start saving up some money so that by the time Christmas rolled around I was able to buy myself a present: a new camera. Fast-forward almost 10 years and now we are here!
Most of my work is senior portraits along with engagements, family photos and also photoshop design work. I love designing sports posters – mainly high school sports programs. I’m always looking for new challenges and am willing to consider any collaboration that comes my way. Have an idea for a shoot or some design work – shoot me a text, email, anything!
My other passions include my day jobs – teaching and coaching. I and coached in Lincoln with Lincoln Public Schools for 8 years before making the move to Elkhorn, NE and have been at Elkhorn High since 2020. I love what I do and love all the different ways in which I get connect with new people!
